I’m pretty sure no one in Melbourne shares the same feelings as I do now – except perhaps my father, because he really wants the garden to flourish – but I really hope it rains all the time this month. Not because I like to navigate in my car through terrible ditches in the gravel parks at the university or the fact that only the shoes that I want to wear on a certain day just happen to be the ones I haven’t sprayed waterproof, but because of my new raincoat that I’ve been tracking down since April. It was unlucky that I just happened to pop Gorman the day after he just came back in stock, and I’m so glad his polka finally dotted the good stuff in my closet. Apparently he settles in just fine with some of my favorite parts at the moment: some very / W matching suede shorts, the best Mode winter boots yet (finally, boots that fit snugly on the ankle! Anyone else has the same problem as me?), my dependence on stripes and of course my trusting DP.
